Every time my brother jokes about taking my room once I get married, it wrecks my gut to think how a woman never really has a space of her own, permanently
Looking back at my school memories, I think my school teachers treated this "slow learning" student without an understanding about dyslexia or learning disability. All of it makes sense now. Poor guy went through a lot of shame.🫂
Love your country and don't want it defamed? Make it safe for women and minority. Reduce sexual violence. Do whatever it takes if you have the power to make changes. Direct the righteous anger at those who violate women, instead of yelling at people for raising these issues.
Every woman knows that sinking feeling when yet another woman is assaulted in India. Every woman is so tired of not having the energy to be angrier than they already are. Every woman is silently grieving for the freedom they will never have.
Becoming Parents Later in Life!! It’s Not Just About the Woman’s Age!!
When considering the question of age in parenting, the focus often shifts immediately to the risks associated with the woman's age. However, it's crucial to understand that the man's age plays a significant role as well.
Compelling evidence suggests that an advanced paternal age is significantly associate with a higher risk of schizophrenia in offspring.
Specifically, the risk is 3 to 4 times greater for children of fathers aged 50 years or older compared to those with fathers in their early 20s. A similar trend is observed with autism; children born to fathers aged 45 or older are significantly more likely to develop autism than those born to fathers in their early 20s.
The exact mechanisms behind these associations (association, not causation) are not fully understood, but one hypothesis points to an increased likelihood of de novo mutations in the sperm of older men. In simpler terms, as a man ages, his sperm is more likely to carry a higher number of mutations over time.
Pregnancy counseling often centers on the woman's age, neglecting the potential risks tied to the man's age. Including the father's age in these discussions could help couples take a more informed decision

Antidepressants (meds) do not work in all cases, but in many, they work really well.
Psychotherapy doesn't work in all cases, but in many, it works really well.
Even exercise can help a good number of people. What doesn't work is not taking any action.
If you have depression or anxiety, you must seek help. Thoughts like "Is it really depression or am I just being lazy?" or "Is it really anxiety or am I being weak?" will keep coming; you must go past them and seek help from a psychiatrist/psychologist.
Ultimately, it's your responsibility to get better. You are the one most impacted by it.
And no, reaching out to doctors on social media is not enough; you must make an actual visit.
See a professional nearby; the longer you wait, the worse it gets. However, it's never too late to seek help.

Today I have attended “Liver transplant” session at @kgmu_medical and I get to know majority of donors were Wife and followed by Sisters.
Sadly ! contribution by “husbands” were almost null .
Lots of respect 🫡 to all the women for their unconditional love and sacrifice.

With acne as a teen, I went to a dermat but had no improvement
So I continued suffering, and tried home remedies with no use.
In med school, I met a dermat & told my history. She just added one extra cream and gone!
All I had to do was follow up. 🤦🏽♀️
Don’t make my mistake!
marital rape still being a topic of “discussion” should tell you more than enough that this country is rotten to its core, rape the word rape is attached to the offence yet they fail to see the fact that it’s a CRIME
Forced intercourse is rape. You'd call it rape in any other similar situation between strangers. Then why not when a man commits it on his wife? I'll tell you why. The hesitation to call it rape stems from a sense of ownership over the wife's body, nothing else.
