Tonight Jalon Daniels won his first game as an NFL quarterback.
He was on the Prime Video set afterward when he stopped talking and waved somebody over.
"Ma, come here. Ma, come here."
Her name is Star.
Jalon Daniels' father made it clear he was not going to be part of their lives. Here is what his mother decided to do about that.
"I wanted to make sure that he never felt that feeling of not having Dad there."
So she worked full time for an insurance company and took a second seasonal job at Toys R Us.
She drove him to Pop Warner practices. She would not let him sleep over at friends' houses until high school, though he could bring ten of them to hers anytime.
And when he wanted to go to a party, there was a condition. She parked outside of it.
"She let me know when it was time to leave," he says, laughing. "An hour and a half before the party ended, we were on our way home."
Here is the other thing she told him, over and over.
She wanted him to grow up to be the kind of man anybody's daughter could bring home to her mother.
Now the football, which nobody handed him either.
His sophomore year at Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, the coaches moved him back down to the freshman team.
He transferred to Lawndale High School, won the job, and Lawndale went 14 and 2 and took the first state championship in school history.
His first scholarship offer came from Tennessee-Martin. He committed to Middle Tennessee State. Then Kansas came to see him in December of his senior year, and he flipped.
He gave the Kansas Jayhawks six seasons. In 2021 he beat Texas in Austin, where Kansas had not won a game since 1938. In 2022 he threw for 544 yards in the Liberty Bowl. Then a back injury took 2023 away, and most players leave at that point.
He stayed. He graduated with a 3.58 GPA. He was voted team captain four times, which no Kansas player had ever done. And with the first real money he was ever allowed to earn, he started a foundation for single mothers raising athletic children.
He named it after her.
In April, all 32 teams passed on him for seven rounds. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him as an undrafted free agent on May 8.
Tonight was his second career start. He went 19 of 25 for 189 yards and threw a touchdown to Bucky Irving. The Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys 24 to 16 for their first win of the season after losing their first four.
One win does not make anybody an NFL quarterback, and he would tell you that himself.
But when the cameras finally found him, the first thing he did was make sure they found her too.
"No matter what, I was present, and he always knew I was present."
Only five players in MLB history have met the following thresholds in their rookie season...
35+ Doubles, 25+ Home Runs, 80+ RBI, 80+ Runs, 65+ Walks
Carter Jensen (2026)
Albert Pujols (2001)
Tim Salmon (1993)
Dick Allen (1964)
Ted Williams (1939)
MIC DROP! Scott Jennings just pulled up the exact clip of him telling everyone Trump would lock down Greenland’s security while the leftist panel lost it.
“Denmark hasn’t handled it well. We’ll do far better.”
Panelist: You’ll sleep better knowing we control it?
Jennings: Yes. It’s sitting between us and Russia. China is circling. The minerals matter.
He said it months ago. Last night it became official.
Trump announced a deal giving the United States permanent security control in Greenland no expiration date, infinite term. The U.S. can stand up a large military presence immediately. Adversaries are barred from bases, troops, or sensitive investments without written U.S. approval. Trump says it costs the United States nothing.
Sovereignty stays with Denmark and Greenland. The security arrangement does not.
He called it. It happened.
The Money Honey Is Gone from Fox
Maria Bartiromo is out at Fox News. Effective immediately. After 12 and a half years.
Fox put out one of those cold corporate statements thanking her for her service and wishing her well on her “next chapter.” Then they stripped her name off every show she built. Mornings with Maria is now just Mornings with FOX Business. Her Friday night Wall Street show got the same treatment. Sunday Morning Futures is being handed to Jason Chaffetz this weekend while they figure out a replacement.
That’s how they treat one of the few people at that network who still acted like a journalist instead of a risk-management intern.
They called her the Money Honey back at CNBC because she actually understood markets and wasn’t afraid to talk to the people who move them. She brought that same energy to Fox. Then she did something that made the suits nervous: she treated Donald Trump like a newsworthy president instead of a radioactive asset. She booked him. She asked questions. She let him talk. And when the 2020 election looked like a dumpster fire to half the country, she didn’t pretend it was a tidy civic exercise.
That’s the real problem.
The reported backstory is that after Trump’s July primetime address — the one that went back at China and the 2020 vote — Fox sent an internal text telling producers not to give those claims oxygen. Legal hangover from the Dominion settlement. Smartmatic still lurking. Bartiromo screenshotted the guidance and sent it to the White House so they would know why the speech got the silent treatment on the network that used to run toward those stories.
Fox found out because the White House called them. They treated it as a fireable offense. Leaking confidential company communications. Betraying the employer.
From the MAGA side of the room it looks different. It looks like a host who still believed the audience deserved to hear what the President of the United States was saying, even after the lawyers told everyone to tap the brakes. Fox already paid $787 million to make the Dominion case go away. They weren’t about to let another story about China and voting systems walk onto the air. Bartiromo apparently decided the audience and the White House should know the network was sitting on it.
That’s not “conspiracy.” That’s an employee who thought her job was still news instead of reputation management.
She hadn’t been on air since early August. They let her do one last morning show Thursday and then dropped the announcement. Classic Fox: keep the talent working until the statement is ready, then wipe the name off the set.
A lot of people on our side are already saying she should be White House press secretary. Roger Stone floated it. It’s not crazy. She knows the markets, she knows the players, and she doesn’t flinch when the press pack starts screaming. Whether that’s her next move or she lands at Newsmax, on X, or builds something independent, the network just lost one of the few remaining voices that treated election integrity and China like they actually mattered.
Fox can rotate anchors and rebrand the shows all they want. The viewers noticed who they just pushed out the door. The Money Honey didn’t get softer. The network did.

Doesn’t surprise me. The whole party is like that!
Hollywood icon Denzel Washington says a ten-minute conversation with Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez felt “like talking to a high school girl.”
“I’m being honest, I was pretty shocked,” Washington said. “She just didn’t seem to know what she was talking about. The talking points were childish, her view of the world is completely jaded, and it honestly feels like somebody convinced her a long time ago that America is something she should hate.”
Washington also took a swipe at AOC’s background, saying, “When you elect a bartender with a theater degree to Congress, this is what you get.”
“I really don’t think she understands what her job is.”
Buc-ees CEO says the company will focus on building in conservative red states with a business-friendly environment instead of blue states: “Life is too short to try to build in places where people don't appreciate what you’re bringing.”
Undrafted rookie QB Jalon Daniels WENT OFF in his preseason debut, including a game-winning rushing TD.
The former Kansas Jayhawk showcased his accuracy and athleticism in the Bucs first win:
🔶 10/15 completions
🔶 111 passing yards
🔶 1 rushing TD
🔶 88.5 passer rating
Daniels is still behind Baker Mayfield and Jake Browning on the depth chart, but it’s going to be fun to see how the Bucs develop him.
What a start for the undrafted rookie. 👏

RFK Jr, standing next to Trump in the Oval Office: 1970 autism rate was less than 1 in 10,000 kids. Today it's 1 in 31 nationally. 1 in 19 in California. 1 in 12.5 for California boys. "Something happened in the mid-90s that changed our children."
Mr. President,
⠀
I don’t know if you’ll ever read this. Probably not. But I’m writing it anyway because my wife and I talk about this all the time, and somebody needs to say it out loud.
⠀
We can’t wait for the day you’re no longer President.
⠀
Not because we’re tired of you. The opposite. Because you deserve to go home. You deserve quiet mornings. You deserve to sit on your own porch without the weight of 330 million people sitting on your shoulders. You deserve your family back. You deserve peace.
⠀
You didn’t have to do any of this.
⠀
You had the money.
You had the name.
You had the life most men only dream about.
You could’ve spent the rest of your days golfing, traveling, watching your grandkids grow up.
⠀
Instead you stepped into a fire that nearly cost you everything.
⠀
They mocked you. They sued you. They raided your home. They tried to bankrupt you. They tried to lock you up. They dragged your wife and kids through the mud. They put a bullet through your ear and you got up with your fist in the air and kept going.
⠀
For what?
⠀
For us. Regular people. Truck drivers. Welders. Waitresses. Roughnecks. Farmers. Single moms working two jobs. Grandparents on a fixed income watching the country they built get handed away.
⠀
You didn’t owe us a thing. And you gave us everything.
⠀
You risked your name. Your legacy. Your safety. Your family’s safety. Your brand. Your freedom. All of it. So this country could have one more shot at being what it was supposed to be.
⠀
And the truth nobody wants to admit?
⠀
We didn’t deserve a President like you.
⠀
A nation this divided, this ungrateful, this asleep at the wheel didn’t earn a man willing to bleed for it. But God sent you anyway. And I’ll thank Him for that until the day I die. 🙏
⠀
So when the day finally comes that you walk away from that desk, I hope you sleep good. I hope your wife laughs again without looking over her shoulder. I hope your kids breathe easy. I hope you golf till the sun goes down and nobody bothers you for nothing.
Donald Trump works more than one week than Joe Biden worked in four years. Yeah.
⠀
You earned every bit of it.
⠀
Thank you, Mr. President. From a retired auto worker in Ohio, who prays for you often.
⠀
God bless you. God bless your family. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸
Randy Dobnak was the star tonight but his daughter stole the show after the game, lending a hand to the grounds crew at the stadium her father used to call home.
Josh Rojas went 1-for-3 in Triple-A today, missed his first flight to Minneapolis, caught the second one, arrived at Target Field around the eighth inning and knocked in the winning runs for the #Royals in the ninth.
He called the day “adventurous.” Sums it up!
🇺🇸 People at Myrtle Beach thought they were having a normal beach day until this showed up.
It's called CRAB, it's a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers survey vessel, and whoever named it deserves a raise 😂
Still thinking about how a 42 win, conference regular season & tournament champ gets seeded below a team who did neither of those things and was swept by us👍
@hawaiianbros Need help. Lost password. Unable to reset. App says it is sending reset instructions to my email but it never arrives. Would really like to place an order under my rewards account. Need some broke da mouth food.
Tesla Semi's total cost of ownership destroys diesel economics
The numbers are wild:
• Electricity: $0.15-0.25/mile
• Diesel: ~$0.75 - 0.80+/mile
• Electricity costs 60-80% less than diesel per mile
• Near-zero maintenance (no diesel aftertreatment, fewer moving parts)
• Remote diagnostics = maximized uptime
• OTA updates = continuous improvements
• Operators will spend less time at service centers and more time on the road
Fleet operators achieve positive ROI before their standard diesel replacement cycle
