@ArrowFilmsVideo Very scummy move releasing this. Many people, me included, bought the individual releases for £90 and now you are releasing this for £60. Arseholes.
Whoever at HBO needs to hear this:
Casting a black African man to play WHITE BRITISH Severus Snape doesn’t give me “REPRESENTATION” at all.
It gives me NAUSEA.
Because Harry Potter has been around for 28 years and 8 movies.
Which means you’ve had exactly that long to create a similar black series of your own.
You chose not to.
So to make him black NOW can only be to piss off the white fans that made the series successful in the first place.
IT. WONT. WORK.
They tried it with Little Mermaid: BOMB.
They tried it with Doctor Who: BOMB.
They JUST tried it with Captain America: BOMB.
And like those 3 flops, white people will boycott - and black people couldn’t care less.
Because the show is obviously being made by people who hate the franchise and its characters.
This ridiculous DEI casting should have stopped by now, but obviously USAID and the ESG people are paying for it, so it’s easy to burn other people’s money.
Keep it up Hollywood, I love laughing at the YouTube critics laughing at you fail.
I am absolutely STUNNED - I just got a glimpse into the future of watching TV together 🤯
We currently have two Vision Pros in our household (temporarily, we are not that rich), and we decided to try watching a movie side by side with SharePlay.
What can I say? It actually worked. The sound and video on both headsets were perfectly in sync— Like 100% in sync. Even the Personas sticked to the real person. It was absolutely mind-blowing how seamless it was and now I can't stop wondering if Apple already thought about this use-case.
We watched 3D movies in different environments, relaxed in the cinema, and even shared the exact same sized virtual screen in our living room, perfectly aligned in the same position.
If these headsets eventually reach a more reasonable price point, I can absolutely see this becoming a better way to watch movies together. I never would have imagined it would work THIS well.
