@chase_wooley Still a ways to go if we’re to compete with the best. Our “best” player can’t play nervous if we want to compete. Retain Poch, mature and sure up defense in the next four years and see if we can take a step forward.
@PawlowskiMario@balogun Hey @balogun because I’m not as talented as you are I could never put myself into your shoes to try and tell you how to live your life. I can say that you were initially dealt a harsh deal but have been given a lifeline. Use it to go be great man! Best wishes to you
@danielgerling@AlexiLalas I’ve seen multiple reports from people in the room that stated all Trump asked was what’s the protocol for something like this. Infantino said that they’ve already been approached by an independent board headed by 2 lawyers who were at the game. Nothing was unjust
@WestHamPlace I agree. The ref should’ve been shown the correct footage during his VAR review the first time to prevent this from happening. I’m glad they fixed it though
@expatspurs@starsnstripesfc@barro_eire So because others have been wronged we’re supposed to ignore mistakes altogether? I’ve played, reffed and coached this game my whole life. It was mishandled. Did I expect this decision? No. But it doesn’t mean it wasn’t the correct thing to do.
@tancredipalmeri Well now there’s precedence. That’s how this works. VAR has never overreached like they did on that play. It was handled incorrectly and then corrected. You can be upset about it but this is a newish part of the game. Precedence is set upon change like it was today
@mussi3x Do I think US will win the World Cup this year? No. Do I think that anything can happen during a 90 minute match? Absolutely. A less talented US team beat a Spain team hailed as one of the best in the past century during the Gold Cup. That’s why you play the match
@KySportsRadio I know it’s not my money but cheapest up front can cost you down the road. Michigan State has been carried by Izzo, a coach I’m pretty sure this guy didn’t hire. The other most popular sport at this school has been a shell of itself of late. Does he have any accomplishments?
@Eyesandvibes This is the most comfortable on the ball that a US team has looked ever. Skillful players all over the pitch and there isn’t a massive gap from the reserves when substitutions happen. Only thing that majorly concerns me is staying locked in defensively and keeping
@NBCSportsSoccer@TelemundoSports Went from jawing at an opposing player 15 seconds before to a worldie. Told that dude to watch this and bent it back post. This could be the makings of memorable run. 1 game at a time
@CycloneKingdom I get that it’s for engagement purposes but can you move on already? Had he returned to Iowa State then you wouldn’t be trying to drag him through the mud. I’m sure ISU will be a really solid team next year. Why not just focus on the people returning to your program?
@jimmerfarris@KentuckyMBB Great team. If I was building a roster of players from my lifetime.
1. Wall
2. Reed
3. Tayshaun
4. Mashburn
5. Davis
Bogans and Reed are interchangeable. Also could throw in Meeks there too
@nolanrichardsin Different type of coach. Cal is a “talent will prevail” type. Pope is more reliant on fit. Different strokes for different folks. Cals way worked really well when he got the best overall freshman in a talent heavy class. If that class was weak then so was his team.
@morehorsepower4@BBN4_L Very true. I’m also interested in N’Diaye for that role. His length will cause some issues for other teams next year. I’m curious how comfortable he is on the ball. Something about foreign big men just makes me feel they come in with better ball skills and vision.
