@NursePixie @arleneseesit Good goal to have, just remember that if you have 50k plus the state pension then you will be paying 40% on part when you drawdown your pot. Yes you get 25% tax free but anything above circa £1.25m you're better getting the employer match only and putting the rest in a S&S ISA.

The gap is surprisingly narrow when you include the other linked benefits available to those who have not worked

ONS data says there are around 929000 individuals (not all pensioners) with either dc pension of over £1m or db worth over 1m (using a 20 times multiplyer). So thats less than 2% of the uk population

@NiallDandydons Its a mixture of both genetic traits including brain structure and upbringing. You can get people who may be genetically predisposed to risk taking and lack empathy but with good parenting it can be ameliorated.

Unfortunately teams are now multibillion pound businesses and rightfully act like it.

That before you get to the prevalence of jobs paying 6 figures (10% in London, 3% in Manc).

Birmingham (UK) has a very vibrant Iranian community, some of whom I know very well.

@Alzamel8207 @RDini16 @benonwine 2 Iranian women work as part of my team. Whilst the country is undoubtedly beautiful along with its food, but its oppression of women and minorities is abhorrent. Speaking to them, their parents thought it would be better without the Shah but they admit they were very wrong.
