@roots3branch @YouTube Sadly I don't think it exists with English subtitles or dubbing. That's the main reason I made a recap video for it.
But you could still get a DVD and just wibe with the visuals, especially now that you know the story.
@roots3branch @YouTube Very fun film :)
Did you know this version (from 2012) is a remake of a movie from 1976?
The '76 version has been shown on television in Norway every Christmas Eve since it premiered.
Here's a 30 minute recap of that version, if you're interested: https://t.co/bsixA9M38T
@Glen05251231 Awesome :D

The star of Reisen Til Julestjernen (Journey to the Christmas Star) Hanne Krogh went on to win the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest as part of the duo Bobbysocks!
I've made a 30 minute video summing up my favorite Norwegian Christmas movie Reisen Til Julestjernen (Journey to the Christmas Star) in English.
Please help share it with anyone who's never gotten to experience this Christmas classic:

@NorAmNews Reisen Til Julestjernen is such an amazing Christmas movie!
I recently made a 30 minute video summing up the entire film for an English-speaking audience: https://t.co/bsixA9M38T
@oliverthekingg@ledgrmntgm Totally fine. I over-simplified a bit about it being a remake.
Both movies are based on a stage play from 1924, and they each focus on different aspects of the play. Both are worth watching in my opinion.
@oliverthekingg@ledgrmntgm That's a poster for the 2012 remake. The original from 1976 has been shown on television in Norway every Christmas Eve since it premiered!
