Amidst the telly ads for ‘pure’ cremation, post pandemic grief, the 14,000 parishes of @churchofengland offer local, moving events to remember well, say goodbye and grieve healthily. All are welcome, whatever your beliefs. Great personal service, great value for money!!
Very moving Memorial Service at St Thomas’s Hospital @GSTTnhs which took a direct hit on 15/9/1940 during Battle of Britain remembering staff and auxiliary firefighters killed during the Blitz and 16 members of staff who have died this year. May they rest in peace @SouthwarkCofE
A morning of tears & joy. 105 days ago I led private prayer with the churchwarden and no others, this morning a glorious Eucharist at Emmanuel Wylde Green, all COVID compliant, in Word & sacrament I wept, knowing we never went away ‘thanks be to God’ and all who make it happen!!
Student midwife who delivered my son and stayed with me through the shift change because I was scared sure felt like she was delivering a service to me.
Very excited that our Prayer Garden has opened @StMikesHarrow. Outside open space at the front of church which can be used for your individual prayer. Stay 2m apart and may God's presence be closer than your skin. 💖💒
