@forestcityclev Can I ask why the merch is so expensive? A hoodie is $80, but Cleveland SC sells it for $35. I really want to buy merch, but even a t shirt is $40, I just can't justify it. It makes me very unhopeful about attending a game because based off this it will be unaffordable
Back at it, friends! We took a beat & a breath. Hit 2025 running and we’ll be announcing dates for men’s & women’s pro soccer soon. In the meantime:
@cleprosoccer Is it possible that the stadium gets built anyways for the men's team? Having it already built would probably help in the next round of bidding. Maybe build a 5k seat stadium that can be expanded
@cleprosoccer are there any updates as to when they will announce the winner of the expansion team? It's so hard waiting and I'm desperate for any details #nwslcle#nwsltocleveland
@CortezThe3rd I get it, I would MUCH rather USL and honestly even league 1 over MLSNP, but the MLSNP is a cheap way for the city to demonstrate we can support higher level soccer, if the team is successful, a USL team will likely be inevitable, potentially even this team could switch over
THIS IS OUR NEW HOME.
Turn your volume UP, Cleveland! 🔊 Feel the gameday vibes wash over you. Get your first look at the future Cleveland soccer stadium.
@cleprosoccer So we have a stadium location and rendering, and season ticket pledges that exceed the proposed size of the stadium. C'mon @NWSL give us a team!!
The #WNBA has maybe the best opportunity in its history to grow the league with two huge stars entering next year, that together outdrew every NBA playoff game but one on TV. That kind of attention and subsequently money, could make it the most important year in its history imo
Someone needs to study the rise of women's sports over the last 2 years. The San Diego Wave paid 2m for an expansion team, and then turned around and sold for 150 million TWO years later. Cleveland can be a part of this! The buying part lol, Follow @cleprosoccer#nwsl#nwslcle
This only has a chance to succeed, IF, prices for less in demand items drop, and it's not just static until they raise the prices, then it could be kind of fun to go and see what's going for cheap and buying that
