"बच्ची को घर के बाहर लगे फूल तोड़ने से मना किया था. इसी बात पर गांववालों ने पुलिस पर दबाब बनाकर छेड़छाड़ का केस दर्ज कराया. पुलिस एक दिन पहले दोपहर को पिता को लेकर आयी थी. शाम 7 बजे उनसे हम मिल पाये. वह एकदम ठीक थे. आज सुबह जब चाय देने आये तो पुलिस ने बताया वह अस्पताल में भर्ती है. अस्पताल आये तो पिता की मौत की खबर मिली."

A 25-year-old youth was beaten and shot dead by a group of armed men in Ludhiana, with CCTV footage capturing the attack.

Harjinder Singh had gone to drop off his friend’s Activa when he was allegedly surrounded by five to six men, assaulted and later shot multiple times. He died at the spot.

Police are examining the footage to identify the attackers and investigate the motive behind the killing.
