(4) I would like to request the @UoL administration and honorable VC @profalokkumar to provide students an open debate or platform where current students and alumni can justify their point as to why this program is important and should be continued. We also warmly welcome the new director of IAMGID #DrMinalGarg to present her reasons/ideas for proposing its closure and address the benefits of shutting down the program, as well as the potential negative consequences if it continues.

(3) Did #DrMinalGarg conduct an open survey with current students and alumni before proposing to shut down this program? Or was this proposal made without considering upcoming postgrads who want to pursue higher education and research in this domain?

Have we contributed enough in this field to justify blocking new students from exploring such a diverse and enthusiastic area of biomedical science?

Before proposing this, did she realize that many parents still won't allow their daughters to stay far from home to pursue higher studies in courses limited to big cities like Delhi?

As director, isn't it her responsibility to strengthen these courses to attract and nurture growing minds at @UoL and motivate them for better performance in academia and industry, rather than closing new avenues for the next generation?
