Feels like the Pacers aren’t getting enough buzz as one of the NBA’s most exciting young teams. They’re loaded with talent, led by an elite point guard and a great coach, and anchored by one of the league’s premier rim protectors.

Bennedict Mathurin has the potential to be a monster three-level scorer, and Jarace Walker could be the physical, defensive-minded beast this team has needed. And the long-awaited Obi Toppin second draft? Sign me up.

Factor in guys like Buddy Hield, Bruce Brown, Nembhard, Nesmith, Nwora, TJ, Stix, I-Jax, and rookie sharpshooter Ben Sheppard, and this looks like a legitimately deep team and a sleeper to contend for a playoff spot in the East.

Easy to forget they were a .500 squad last season with Haliburton in the lineup. The future is bright in the Basketball State.
