This story of Simon Kato is heartbreaking 💔
A young man tried to recover money lent in good faith but lost over a decade of his life, his parents, his home, and any chance at a normal future due to a calculated lie.
Too many men face this quiet unfairness: false accusations the system often accepts at face value, years stolen forever, families shattered, and a society that rarely asks about the innocent man left in the ruins. No one should pay this price for someone else’s cruelty.
To every man who has endured this in silence: your pain is real, your loss is valid, and you are not alone. We need more honesty, due process, and compassion for lives broken this way.
May Simon find peace, support, and the justice long denied him.
I can’t imagine how he's supposed to recover from such trauma 🥹
-MODERN LOVE-
They call it love but keep a backup in another chat.
They promise forever with fingers still scrolling for someone new.
They ask for loyalty while feeding attention to strangers.
They say, “Trust me,” yet hide the truth behind disappearing messages.
One small argument becomes a reason to leave.
One better option becomes a reason to forget.
Love has become a competition:
who cares less, who replies later, who can walk away first.
People no longer fear losing a good heart.
They fear missing a better offer.
Flowers are replaced with filters.
Letters are replaced with screenshots.
Promises are replaced with excuses.
And silence is called maturity.
Maybe that’s why so many people say they’re in love yet sleep with an empty heart.
Because love was never meant to be a game of options.
It was meant to be the place where two people finally stopped searching
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Lord, thank You for Your word and guidance, strengthen us when we feel tired, discouraged, or overwhelmed. Renew our faith and give us the courage to continue doing what is right, even when we do not see immediate results.
Help us to remain faithful in serving You, loving others, working diligently, and walking in obedience. When challenges arise, remind us that our labor in You is never in vain. Give us patience to trust Your timing and perseverance to keep moving forward.
May we not lose heart or give up on the purpose You have given us. Let us encourage one another and remain steadfast until we receive the harvest You have prepared.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray.
Amen.
Yesterday, I boarded a taxi from Kla Rd to Mukono, meant to get off at Seeta.
The driver had no conductor, so I sat at the kameme seat. Whenever he stopped for a passenger, he would say “nyambako oyo omugulire”. Due to constant requests for over 4 passengers as they all opted for the back seats, I decided to sit in the conductor's seat. i just enjoyed what I was doing, and we got full at Spears.
Long story short, passengers started alighting from Banda, Kireka up to Bweyos as we refilled. We stopped at Seeta stage for a lady and her son to get out, but I had forgotten that I was supposed to stop there too. I continued to Mukono, and the driver later gave me 2K saying “ffuna boda awo ekuzeyo”😭
“Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.”
Proverbs 4:26
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your Word that instructs us to carefully consider the path of our feet and establish our ways according to Your wisdom. Lord, we surrender our plans, decisions, and desires to You.
Guide our steps and help us walk in the path of righteousness. Give us discernment to recognize the right direction and courage to turn away from every path that leads to sin, confusion, and destruction. Let our choices honor You and bring glory to Your name.
Father, establish our ways. Order our steps in our careers, hustles, relationships, finances, and spiritual life. Keep us from turning to the right or to the left, but help us remain steadfast in Your will. When we are uncertain, be our guide; when we are weak, be our strength; and when we are tempted, be our deliverer.
Fill us with Your wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that every step we take draws us closer to You and fulfills the purpose You have for our lives.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen. 🤲
The most intimate thing a woman can do is learn you, not only to love you or fuck with you but understand you, know how to show up for you, recognise your silence, appreciate the little things and make you feel seen. It's never about grand gestures; it's about being intentional in ways that matter most.
Is that too much?
Witchcraft is real, and be careful with whom you mess around.
You know those market old men who transport matooke, fish, and water in jerrycans on bicycles? 🥹
Yesterday at Kitintale market, they stole the old man’s bike, and all he said was “ajja jizza. He went behind one of the market stalls, pulled out his pump (Bomba), and started pumping. 15 minutes later, the thief returned the bicycle with a swollen tummy.
