Obviously true, but consider the following: Americans under 50 are exhausted by this entire discussion. We are exhausted by the race discussion. We are exhausted of the endless debate over racism when in reality the only thing we notice about race today is:

(1) A shocklingly high percentage of the descendants of slaves engage in anti-civilizational behavior and our leaders do not want to acknowledge this or even hold them accountable under the law or basic precepts of moral responsibility applicable to you or me.

(2) Our leaders facilitated third-world migration en masse that threatens the safety of women and children, our Constitution, our values, our way of life and above all our God.

These boomerslop talking points used to mean something to so many younger born after the Carter Administration; indeed, we had them drilled in our heads from 3rd grade forward.

Enough already.

Given (1) and (2), the entire historical debate just doesn’t matter. No one cares about the “original sins” anymore other than the Boomers, who are too self-absorbed to understand the threat of (1) and (2) or their culpability for it. The entire discussion is only slightly more interesting than a debate over whether tariffs or the New Deal were principally responsible for the depression.

Yesterday Mamdani gave a speech from Washington’s desk that is reminiscent of Tokyo Rose. Earlier in the week the Supreme Court told us the Constitution is a suicide pact in the worst reasoned decision since Roe.

On this 4th of July, Americans should consider what must be done to deliver a better country to the next generation. Let me submit to you what that might be:

(1) Stop letting our distant past guilt us into shrugging our shoulders at anti-civilizational behavior.
(2) Expel the foreign hordes en masse back to the Third World.
(3) Provide no quarter to the ideologies that would compromise our way of life and zero tolerance for those that advocate for them.

As children we were promised the future, the stars and Mars. We received something very different. Let us do what is necessary now, however difficult, to restore America for Americans.

On this 4th of July, we celebrate America without exception, reservation, apology or even debate.

Age 5: “He’s got a cannon.”
Age 6: “He’s the fastest kid out there. Coach said so.”
Age 7: “Rec ball isn’t challenging him anymore.”
Age 8: “We tried out for select. Obviously made it.”
Age 9: “$2,800 for the season. Plus uniforms. Plus tournaments. Plus hotels.”
Age 10: “I’m not a crazy sports parent. The OTHER parents are crazy.”
Age 11: “He needs a hitting guy. And a pitching guy. And probably a mental performance coach.”
Age 12: “Cooperstown is basically a family vacation, right?”
Age 13: “We changed schools. For academics. (And also baseball.)”
Age 14: “Showcases are a requirement at this age.”
Age 15: “Ya his ranking just ticked up. We’re cooking.”
Age 16: “He just needs to get seen by the right school.”
Age 17: “The D1 schools want him to walk on. He’ll earn a spot by sophomore year.”
Age 18: “Okay, D2 is actually really competitive.”
Age 19: “He’s redshirting. Strategic.”
Age 20: “He’s focusing on school now.”
Age 21: “You know what? He’s so much happier.”

Roughly 7% of high schoolers play in college.

About 1.5% of those get drafted.

Less than half of draftees ever play one day in the big leagues.

The odds of our kids going pro and playing 10 years in the big leagues are ~ 1 in 20,000.

I love youth sports (all my kids play a bunch of them); just keep a good perspective, my friends.
