Sinthia was illegally evicted in 2018.

We can now announce that Sinthia last week won a HUGE victory in court against her former landlord worth *tens of thousands of pounds*.

Cap rents, not benefits.

LHA needs to cover housing costs so people are not pushed into poverty, but landlords should be prevented from getting rich on public money.

Today we got their letting agent to commit to urgent pest removal and repairs 🥳

🔥 Another WIN!

Notting Hill Genesis forced our members to live for years in UNSAFE conditions, so we took the power of the union to their doorstep.

Straight away they committed to start vital repairs TOMORROW and meet with the LRU in January to discuss our other demands!
