Why are so many people in denial about the state of the plant (#GlobalWarming.) To the point where they would fight against renewable energy and environmentally friendly packaging etc. "Oh no cleaner air, oceans and planet, who would want that!?" Am I missing something?

Wondering why people think @elonmusk can solve world hunger.. when the govement and the plethora of tax they get from us on a non stop basis, from our wage, what we buy, what we own (e.g property tax) apparently is no where near enough. Maybe we need to re-evaluate their spending
