Comecei a perceber que deixar a casa arrumada antes de sair é uma pequena forma de respeito pelo meu próprio futuro. Voltar cansado e encontrar tudo no lugar produz uma paz que você só entende depois que começa a fazer isso.
I hope I never become too busy to notice the small evidence that life is going right. A good conversation. A safe journey home. A meal you enjoyed. A laugh you didn't plan. Those moments count too.
You’re told:
“Go no-contact.”
“Focus on yourself.”
“Time will heal it.”
But no one tells you what to do at 2AM when your chest hurts and your brain won’t stop replaying them.
Y’all get cheated on so dmnn much that y'all started normalizing it... "every ngga gon cheat" whole time it's a MAN out here that won't even look a btch way cause he got a WOMAN/YOU
I think a big reason I don’t mourn the end of connections for too long is because they usually were always clearly going to end. Whether it be 1 month, 1 year, or 10 years. I can usually see traits that would’ve eventually had me leaving so, better sooner than later.
How lucky do two people have to be to find each other at exactly the right time, fall for each other in exactly the right way, and somehow just know that they’re meant to be in each other’s lives? Some connections really feel like perfect timing and a little bit of fate.
I used to believe that if I treated people with kindness, they would return it. But life taught me that people will be who they are, regardless of how gently you treat them. You can have a good heart and still be treated badly. That’s why, eventually, you learn to stop listening to promises and start paying attention to actions. People always reveal themselves through what they choose to do.
People who can watch someone help them every single day and never feel the need to even offer some reciprocation are scary man. I dodge you guys like the plague.
Money has taught me something simple: having more isn't automatically the goal. The real goal is having enough room in your finances to breathe, plan, help people, and handle surprises without falling apart.
