With so much inflation in the transfer market, the “tier 1” players actually represent fairer value. Seriously, why shouldn’t Man United go for Caceido 💁🏻♂️
@SwedishRumble is the visionary
The media is just predictable. Portugal drew the game and the talk is Cristiano Ronaldo being a hinderance. The same way Kane was a hinderance in the last Euros?
DR Congo played a 5 back that was hard to break down and Portugal were too passive. That’s it.
@AliceTalksFooty Of this, Ndiaye the only one. That said, we should go for one of the ones you said were unlikely. The club were willing to spend in January for Semenyo!
@SwedishRumble Exactly this. Absolutely little sense to invest in a player that we have confidence he is close to his ceiling due to years in the Prem and almost 25. We should NOT neglect pushing the budget more for higher upside. Also, Vivel recommends Diomande for a reason.
@Muppetiers I think the additional £20-£30m for the upside of a Diomande / Rogers is worth it. Summerville will be 25 and has been in the Prem for a few years now. His “level” or “ceiling” is more or less established.
@TrollFootball2 Madueke drags Mendes means his own momentum tumbles Mendes and thus tumbling Madueke. Correct decision - no penalty. Nothing controversial
@EzirimDavi79110@coder_blvck He’s leaving because he wants a break. Fergie went on. So, he wouldn’t because he factually couldn’t deliver that over a longer period of time. Hence his decision to leave
The Ederson transfer looks more of a market opportunity rather than the name high on the list. If they proceed, it better NOT come at the cost of a M Fernandes and Baleba AND their top choice of Anderson or Tonali.
For me the formula is simple and proven, buy within the Prem ✅
@SimplyUtd@TeleFootball - built a club that had gone 19 years without a title
- integrated many main-stay academy players
- done it for longer, meaning he rebuilt multiple squads
- won across multiple eras of football
- won the European Cup with Aberdeen
There’s mores than one for him
