We’re deeply saddened by the passing of Bryn Cooper, one of the founders of the Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools. As head coach, he helped shape a generation, including a young Sir David Beckham, who won the National Skills Final in 1986 and credits @SirBobby with changing his life.

The FA’s 2024/25 Charlton Award, in memory of @SirBobby, was presented last week at Wembley.

This year’s recipient, Paul Stewart, is recognised for his outstanding work in Safeguarding across football.
