Eleven years ago, days after he came home, I wrote of @SirCarterSays on LiveJournal, “He was especially wiggly and cuddly this morning! I love how he’s excited to see me and wags his tail happily when I wake up, when I get back from the shower, when I finish getting dressed...”

Nine years ago, we celebrated the first anniversary of @SirCarterSays coming home with the first Carterday party! 🤎 No party as we reach the end of Carter's tale, but he has gotten cuddles from many friends the last few weeks. Thank you all for the well wishes from near and far.
