It’s actually such beautiful timing that Digger came out just long enough before Artificial and The Social Reckoning for people to have the chance to really grasp its message and then test that thesis against two perfect examples of what the movie is pointing a finger at.
@TheChrisLambert That’s why I don’t get the super pessimistic anti-art reading of the movie. It literally keeps telling you “both are correct” and that extends to how art both can’t save the world on its own and also has the power to unify people in a way nothing else can.
This is the first time I’ve ever had a tweet get this many likes and seeing the insane spectrum of people’s profiles is like the power in Death Note where you can see a bunch of information about people above their heads in a public space.
The destruction physics in this game are so good it’s a shame they’re being wasted on fps slop instead of a retro-inspired jrpg with themes and motifs of overcoming depression

THE FINALS is getting its biggest destruction update since launch this month!
The Dynamism upgrade introduces a gradual destruction layer in the game's maps, allowing building parts to hinge, twist, and sag rather than instantly detaching.
They (Israel) want you to look insane and discreditable because you think attacks on Jewish people are helping the fight against Zionism, which only works to hinder the fight for the Palestinian people.
Heartbreaking to see this wave of antisemitism with some of these leftist accounts. The conflation of Zionism and Judaism is an explicit propaganda tactic of Zionists and some “leftists” are falling for it hook line and sinker.
I don’t understand the take of “IG’s best loop is on the ground, so stop wanting aerial attacks.” As if Insect Glaive is some real world weapon that the devs can’t alter the identity of?? Like they could have given it some crazy boost air attack if they wanted they made the game
To me it seems like a very reasonable take to play Rise where there’s a fun aerial angle to IG combat and then say “Hey, I’d love it if in Wilds DLC they make it more of a viable damage option as well”
There’s made me realize I haven’t saved a meme to my phone in so many years. I miss having collection folders of loss edits and cursed images etc everything is so transient now on the internet
@NuggetBoi420 None of these people complain must have spent any meaningful time in the endgame of base Wilds because it’s so clear to anyone who cares to engage with new systems that the range for skill expression is so much wider in this game than ever before.
Twitter LOVES to critique Elden Ring for having little depth to its gameplay and then when players showcase depth to the gameplay complain that they’re doing too much and the average player won’t do any of that.
I’m sure it’s rooted in despair, but there’s this bizarre concept in the D2 playerbase that the sunset content is just sitting on a hard drive in the office ready to come back to the game if someone pushes a big red button and not, you know, completely gone in the current engine
