@dgriff_19 Hahah no wager needed here as I think the committee will do it. I’m saying I think it’s BS.
Main difference is I’m as strongly against omitting a team due to an injury as you can possibly be. I’m gathering that you’re in favor of it. Agree to disagree, I think it’s unfair
What a weird situation you’ve got now. The CFP committee will either …
1) Penalize Florida State for an injury …
2) Ignore Texas’ head-to-head win at Bama OR …
3) Leave the one-loss SEC champion out.
@dgriff_19 There’s gotta be space between being the best and having proven you’re the best. Ask yourself how people would be treating Bama if they beat a top 15 team in the conference title game with their third string QB.
@dgriff_19 It won’t happen. But long standing SEC bias is the only thing that will get Bama or Georgia in.
Simply no way to justify ousting Texas (beat Bama by 10 in their house) or FSU (13-0 with two wins over the SEC)
I'd like to go on record disagreeing with Pats fans up in arms about Brady's retirement post. Brady is an expert-level troll and it's very obvious he went out of his way to not mention you.
My prediction? Some post or video on Thursday.. the 20th anniversary of his first ring.
@tedteddandteddy@WEEI@985TheSportsHub A few other things I noticed:
- “To my Bucs teammates the past two years” … people wanna say he doesn’t like Bill, but would he really snub 20 years of Pats teammates he loved?
- The word “retire” is absent 🤔
Seems clear to me he’s setting up for an official Pats-centric thing
Tom Brady is retiring from football after 22 extraordinary seasons, multiple sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.
