IF. IF. IF. IF. IF. IF. IF. IF.
If you have more than you need — build a bigger table, not a higher fence.
If you rise before others — light the path, not close the gate.
If you have knowledge — teach, don’t boast.
If you’re strong — protect the weak, don’t oppress them.
If you’re blessed — become a blessing, not a bragger.
If you’ve healed — help others heal, don’t remind them of their pain.
If you’re ahead — reach back, don’t look down.
If you’ve eaten — share your food, don’t waste it.
If you’re peaceful — spread calm, don’t stir chaos.
If you’ve succeeded — create opportunities, don’t envy.
If you’re happy — make others smile, don’t mock their sadness.
If you know better — guide gently, don’t judge harshly.
If you’re loved — give love, not pride.
If you have time — spend it meaningfully, not carelessly.
If you’ve found your way — show the map, not the distance.
If you’re free — fight for others’ freedom, don’t ignore their chains.
If you’re favored — don’t forget the less privileged.
If you’re full — feed someone hungry, don’t walk past.
If you have space — welcome someone in, don’t shut your doors.
If you see someone fall — lift them, don’t laugh.
Above all — if you are blessed, bless others.
~ God bless you 🙏
lol I don’t understand the people under this comment section 🤔😊
How would you say he should have forgiven and accepted them like that because of his age?
See the real truth is that no matter how hard he tried it’s almost psychologically impossible to forgive the betrayal.
ATP everything has changed completely, he loves those children yes but he can never see them the same again.
There should be a death sentence for a lot of things in this life. This woman had 3 kids for her husband, the firstborn is already 21 years old, and according to the story shared on Kokoro Alate, none of the 3 kids belongs to the man. He is already 56 years old.
People started telling the man that his third child looked exactly like their pastor. That was when he became suspicious and came online to seek help after repeatedly begging his wife to tell him the truth.
• The man raised all three children believing they were biologically his.
• Despite his financial struggles, he did everything possible to provide for them, even borrowing money when necessary to take care of their needs and education.
• His firstborn is already 21 years old, and he reportedly sponsored the child through university.
• Trouble started when people began telling him that his third child looked exactly like their pastor.
• He became suspicious and repeatedly begged his wife to tell him the truth about the children.
• His wife insisted that all three children belonged to him and reportedly left the house at some point, accusing him of not trusting her.
• The man eventually came online to seek help, and the matter led to DNA tests being conducted.
• The DNA results reportedly showed that NONE of the three children was biologically his.
• Two of the children were allegedly fathered by their pastor.
• The firstborn, whom the man had already sponsored through university, reportedly belonged to another man entirely.
• The painful part is that the woman allegedly knew the truth all along, yet allowed him to spend more money conducting DNA tests to discover what she already knew.
• The man is now 56 years old, after spending more than two decades raising and providing for three children he believed were his.
Imagine dedicating over 20 years of your life, finances and emotions to raising three children you believed were biologically yours, only to discover at 56 that none of them is yours.
Stories like this make me wonder how many similar things happened in our parents' generation but never became public because there was no social media to amplify them.
Not just 'remove Tinubu'. Replace him with someone clearly better. A leader with vision, integrity & proven capacity. Nigeria deserves more than recycled excuses. Time to raise the bar. #NewNigeria
Let's be Okay...
I tried this in my own community.
I told them: “Nobody should tip the private security guards individually. Let’s create a treasure account in their name. If you feel generous, throw something in there. At the end of the month we’ll use it to buy them foodstuffs or bonus as a group.”
As usual, people ignored.
Fast forward to today: The guards are now threatening to kill each other with guns because of tips 😂😂
Na so we dey settle fight every Eke market day.
This is what I’m talking about.
When we normalize individual “dash”, we create competition, greed, and wahala inside the same system that’s supposed to protect us.
Structure would have saved us. A group account, transparency, and shared benefits would have saved us.
But no, we chose “let me dash my own” and now we’re here doing peacekeeping every day.
Let everybody eat. But let’s feed them with sense.
This post is a perfect example of how our “small lovely gestures” are actually the root of a lot of our problems in Nigeria.
Don’t get me wrong, the intention to give is beautiful. Nobody is discrediting generosity.
But when we bypass systems and start dashing people to “help them”, we unintentionally normalize that their official salary is not enough, and that extra “tip” is now expected to survive.
That’s how institutions rot. The person in charge stops pushing for proper funding and proper pay because “people will dash them anyway”. And when the money is meant to be shared, 1 person pockets it because the culture has taught us that survival > structure.
This is exactly how we got here with the Nigerian Police. It started with ₦20 “for pure water”. Then ₦50. Then ₦100. Now it’s extortion and a whole culture of “roger”. We enabled it, little by little.
In most developed countries, there are strict rules around this. You can’t tip a nurse in a public hospital. You can’t tip a police officer. You can’t tip a security guard on duty. Why? Because their salary is supposed to cover it, and accountability is supposed to enforce it. Tipping them is seen as a bribe, not kindness.
So the real help isn’t just funding the institutions. It’s holding the people in charge accountable to actually pay what people deserve, on time, and with transparency.
Until we demand structure over “dash”, we’ll keep creating the very problems we complain about.
Let everybody eat. But let the system feed them too.
I really do not understand greed. The money you get today will not solve all your problems.
I gave a security guy money to share with his colleagues. The guy in front begged me that next time, I should give everyone their money personally. One time I went to the gym and gave the security money to share with his colleagues and he put it in his pocket. I gave a nurse money at the hospital to share with her colleagues and she put in her pocket. Somebody did business with 2 friends and was meant to share commission with them, but he pocketed it. They kpaid him sha.
I really do not get greed. The principle of money is simple - money that is not your own is not your own. Let everybody eat. Your problem is not special. Everyone is going through a lot and need a breather
Originally it’s patriarchy then comes government policies.
Communication is probably like a bandage, it’s gonna buy more time but the original problems are still there.
In simple terms, what she’s saying is like
We find a way to reward/worship criminal politicians and then turn around to complain about the hardship of the country, and we never rate the honest politicians because in our books they not up to the standard.
In essence this things have a way of shaping our society.
Like we wouldn’t be facing the hardship if we didn’t reward/worship corrupt politicians and since we reward/worship them then why do we complain about the hardship of the country?
Coming back to this tweet.
I don’t know how else to describe this except entitlement. Why should someone ignore a stripper who’s providing a service he willingly pays for and give you the money simply because you’re a “good girl” who works hard?
How does your honest living benefit him? What exactly are you offering him that entitles you to his money?
If you’re unhappy with what your honest work pays, that’s a separate issue. But expecting strangers to reward your virtue just because it exists is entitlement.
If you believe the stripper is earning more because of the service she provides, then you also have the freedom to become a stripper. 🤷♀️
@Mi__miiiiii Both the girl and her family have no problems with that because he’s rich. If he was poor you probably wouldn’t have heard about it.
Besides we’re in a country where if they’re both Muslims you wouldn’t be here to talk about it.
How you know you’re still a weak man is when a woman can still emotionally manipulate you and you fall for it.
Including your mother ooh.
They’ll always try to get to your emotions, don’t let them, lock that away and you’ll see the entire BS and whining.
There’s absolutely nothing fun about all this nonsense, why can’t we channel all this energy to the politicians stealing our billions?!! 😫
The average Nigerian citizen is a/are very terrible person(s).
