The average Kenyan suffers from a communal illness that assumes all the citizens must be equally miserable.

This is dangerous and must be stopped.

It seems that, 'we must all win' is not acceptable, but 'we must all suffer' is almost celebrated and enforced as a communal norm.

Let's call out corruption, misgovernance, and evil but also appreciate that it is okay for others to have what we do not have in the meantime.

Poverty is not humility.
