@NanNanFGC They should have just been honest and say "we want Robo-Ky's self-harming explosion to wall-break instead of unsticking, so we're changing the rest of the self-harming projectiles to be consistent" instead of trying to gaslight us into thinking Faust unstick routes were op lol.
@TrackPadYuumi In my experience, ending up directly above Slayer used to mean you MUST block or else you eat a fat counter hit, because no matter how much air stalling or double-jump fakeouts you do, mashing S was always the universal answer for him. I'm not sad that's gone for good.
@GazelleStep Generally the RPS behind defending against Ram's 5H enders is 1) mash 6P to defend against flip (loses to ondo) 2) bum rush Ram that's setting up ondo (loses to flip) or 3) be prepared to guard against either one (conditioned to block)
@GazelleStep If your opponent is allowing you to get away with that (otherwise they'll IAD in if they catch that habit), you've conditioned them to turtle in neutral, which is good for Ram! At that point you can switch to a more aggressive/risky approach like repeated dash up f.s,...
@GazelleStep ...dash up 2s into rekka, maybe even dash up c.s. The main goal here isn't necessarily to hit them out of their defense, but to push them into the corner without using an unsafe ender that they're looking to punish.
@elMyutant@critatonic The rectangle is actually a distortion of the the true representation of the value-saturation space (for a given hue), which is a triangle. See here; the color black is a single, unique point; in a rectangular, black is stretched out to be a line.
@HomeDepotemkin I was hoping to either chip out or catch a pre-emptive K mist finer but the very next frame I glanced at your tension gauge and felt the blood drain from my face lol ggs
@hueoops For all of these kind of "ads that function as ads without the ad label" posts that suddenly appeared recently, that's gotta be some kind of FCC violation for deceptive advertisement, right? It's almost like the algorithm is blantantly trying to disguise it as an organic TL pull.
I think this Strive patch is a net positive, but I still can't understand the design philosophy behind changing a universal move so that some characters aren't better at anti-airing with it, versus adding a new universal move making some characters more effective at wall-breaking
@sdrin14 It's funny that even though I'm a Ram main I'm way more optimistic about this patch than the last despite still getting nerfed because last time they just sort of plucked out her ultra-strong traits and left her with some odd holes, it seems now that they actually have a vision.
@cherry_mille@wuzzerino Is it worth taking Queen Elizabeth for classic/senior year and risking race fatigue? I've been running Stayer's Stakes instead (Early December G2 Long) to take advantage of the fact that race fatigue can't proc on the New Year transistion
@Gatrsmol When my latest dualshock started doing this I just bit the bullet and bought/learned a leverless controller. I've messed up like three dualshocks this way
