If someone tells you how unrealistic the trick weapons are, tell them that 16th Century Germans pretty much had all of them (albeit most were novelties and/or art pieces) #bloodborne
@Adamantium19897 Mechanically, this system is similar to something like the prayer beads in Sekiro to keep the dlc experience from being steam rolled. The issue is that the methods of getting fragments are inconsistent and feels kind of arbitrary at times.
@BathedinBrena @DocStrangelove2 The closest we have in Souls to this master piece of the dueling shields and the different piercing ones. It would be interesting to see more like this.
@Adamantium19897 Thank you very much! My goal is to do more like it for the other games. Especially with all the different weapons and jokes that write themselves. We will see if more comes!
@skullmantweets Exactly this and just straight fling it in their face so they can’t see the follow up. Honestly, I’m just here trying to find some wacky historical facts. What’s one you know since you are aware of this topic?
@BathedinBrena I didn’t receive the email but the general link was posted on places where you can access it as well. I also found it interested they mentioned several non Fromsoft games implying their inspirations were active inclusions.
