Whether you've pushed me or pulled me, hurt me or helped me, you gave me more than I would ever willingly let you take from me and for that, I “thank-you!”
It is not wrong to say missing black, brown and native American women have the same value of life as missing white women. It's wrong to ignore the clear disparity.

We are not loyal to political parties, we are loyal to our people. We don’t care who the President of the United States is, we will call out injustice when we see it. What’s WRONG is WRONG.
We won’t be silent. We stand with our Haitian family.
The differences between how missing cases are covered in regards to race are flagrantly obvious. The entire nation knows the story of Gabby Petito. Her remains were found. I wonder how much anguish the family of Destini Smothers would have been spared ifher remains hadbeen found.
You can be outraged at the Gabby Petitio case, AND highlight the fact missing women of color receive a fraction of this coverage in America. These things are not mutually exclusive BUT the national focus & discourse on missing women IS. It’s exclusive to white women #gabbypetitio
