tomorrow is holocaust memorial day. it’s not the jewish day of commemoration. that is later on in the year. it is a day for the non-jewish world to consider the memory of the holocaust and what it means to them.
On #HolocaustRemembranceDay, I’m thinking about my Grandparents Kamisa & Benyiamin who were sent to camps by Nazis in Tunisia.
The horrors of the Holocaust in Africa are rarely acknowledged, let alone discussed.
Every day I’m proud to be a grandson of Holocaust survivors.
Just pause to think for a moment ...
6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust.
If a minute’s silence was observed for each victim, the silence would last more than 11 years!
