I bit my tongue when I walked away
& in my head,
I thought no what you really mean is
You wanna work me for cheap so you can go buy your kids a new pair of Jordans.
& This Was A “BISHOP”’
= Moral High Ground Ass 🖕🫵
I worked for a landscaping company & he was a local bishop
& we did whole ivory home developments.
I literally ran a crew of five people.
& these where large contractors
I requested a pay raise
& he looked me dead in my face and said what
= So you can buy some Michael Jordan's
Needless to say,
I quit on the spot & never looked back. Let's just say the experience here in this community. If you are not Mormon, you are treated subpar. You are treated like you are an African-American even if you are not, & they are all racist bigoted two-faced & judgmental
I will admit, I basically do hate and despise Mormons as a group. It may be less than ideal in terms of Christian charity, I don't wish Mormons specific ill, but I have nothing positive to say about them.
I cannot say, "Mormonism is wrong, but their people are so nice."
When I was in undergrad I struck up a bit of a friendship with a professor who turned out to be Mormon. I had an interest in survival preparation. He mentioned that LDS store 12+ months of canned/preserved food in their homes and that they have programs through their wards. We got to talking, towards the end of the semester I asked, "can I put an order in through your ward for about $1,000 worth of stuff? Obviously I'll pay, I don't expect anything for free..."
He said, "Well you're not LDS, so probably not... But let me see..."
A few days later he said, "If you help us with our upcoming bottling and canning drive at the pantry, the ward bishop said we can take and process your order too..."
I spent 8 hours on one day, 8 hours the next day, I even brought my father who worked the same 16 hours... We both worked 16 hours on their canning drive at their pantry warehouse for their ward.
At the end of it, when it was clear we were not interested in joining the LDS, and just wanted them to process our order as originally agreed upon, I was told, "you're not a member, we can't process your order."
I wouldn't trust a Mormon to tell me water is wet.
I don't do business with Mormons, I don't talk with them, I don't consort with them, I don't want anything to do with them in any context.
They are a cult that will act friendly and chummy when they think you might contemplate joining, but when it is clear you are not going to join, they will behave dishonestly and treacherously. This is why they were driven out of every single state they began in and had to flee to Utah.
If somebody tells me they are a Mormon I already know I don't want to know them and I don't want them in my life.
Another Mormon youth leader gets away with abusing children.
Plea deal for no time in prison, no sex offender registry.
Kirton McConkie will send an army of lawyers to crawl up your ass if you threaten their image and assets, but if you’re a victim harmed by one of their leaders, once they make the phone call that clears them of liability, you’re on your own.
Sorry, victims. We’ll try to discern better next time.
@gopTODD
I wonder if the no registry list applies to this gentleman as well?
Because this has serious ramifications
If so
“CORRECT”
Was that legislation passed simply for that particular circumstance?
Or was it passed for more of a broad approach to these kinds of cases?

CAN ANYBODY
REMIND ME HOW
FAVORITISM WORKS
👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
In my community and across Utah, as well as in other states where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds significant influence, a blatant and infuriating pattern of favoritism poisons our justice system. Time and again, individuals affiliated with the Mormon Church—whether through membership, family ties, or institutional connections—receive shockingly lenient treatment for heinous crimes, while non-Mormons or those without such privileges face the full, brutal force of the law for far lesser offenses. This isn't justice; it's a rigged game built on bias, prejudice, and outright discrimination that tramples the rights of everyday people and shields the powerful.
Consider the damning evidence from just a handful of cases over the past few years:
- **Exhibit 1: Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA)** – David Hamblin, accused of horrific abuses, walked free after prosecutor David Leavitt dismissed the case. Leavitt then fled the country, leaving a stench of corruption in his wake.
- **Exhibit 2: Rape of a Child** – David McConkie, tied to Kirton McConkie—the LDS Church's go-to law firm for these exact types of cases—pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, dodging the severe punishment he deserved.
- **Exhibit 3: Accused of Rape** – BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff saw his charges dismissed outright, a clear perk of his affiliation with the Mormon-dominated university and its sports program.
- **Exhibit 4: Rape of a Child** – A family member of Utah Senate President J. Stuart Adams secured a cushy plea deal, highlighting how political and religious clout warps accountability.
- **Exhibit 5: Child Sexual Exploitation** – Fire Chief Ned Brady Hansen and Justice Court Judge Kevin Christensen remain under ongoing investigation, with no swift justice in sight—unlike what non-affiliated individuals would face.
- **Exhibit 6: Forcible Sexual Abuse** – Salt Lake City fire captain Chris Burk's case drags on without resolution, another example of delayed or diluted consequences.
- **Exhibit 7: Sexual Assault of a Child** – BYU baseball pitcher Candon Dean Dahle escaped with a plea deal, benefiting from the protective bubble of Mormon institutions.
- **Exhibit 8: Child Sexual Abuse Material** – Russ Gatrell, raised in the Mormon Church, faces an ongoing case that seems to move at a glacial pace compared to others.
These aren't isolated incidents—they're part of a broader epidemic. While the exact number of sexual abuse cases involving LDS members over the last two years remains obscured, hundreds of lawsuits and allegations have surfaced through journalism and legal battles from 2023 to 2025. Many are hushed up with private settlements under confidential terms, and countless others go unreported, perpetuating a culture of impunity.
This Mormon favoritism must end now. Non-Mormons in our communities are hammered with maximum sentences for minor infractions, their lives destroyed by a system that bows to religious privilege. It's discriminatory, it's unjust, and it's tearing our society apart. We demand transparency, equal accountability, and an end to this hypocritical double standard—before more victims are silenced and more predators walk free. If you're in power and turning a blind eye, know this: We're watching, we're calling it out, and we won't stop until real justice prevails.
