In 2015, Google accidentally put their website up for sale.
When this former employee realized it, he bought it for just $12.
Google had no choice but to give him whatever he wanted.
His response? Not $100,000. Not $100 Million.
Here's what he asked for instead:
That Kairo and Azziad's cases are perfect examples of why you should never feel jealous when you see people living an extravagant lifestyle on social media. Use your jealousy well; you might be envying someone who is milking clients, sleeping with politicians, and living in debt.
Everyone's watching the wrong AI company:
The world is obsessed with Musk, Deepseek and Bezos.
But this AI is 5x more powerful than DeepSeek and ChatGPT COMBINED.
Here's why 2025 belongs to Sundar Pichai: 🧵
On January 30, 2014, I skipped my Solid Mechanics class to install the first proof of concept for FarmShield in Njoro.
No funding. No guarantees. Just a belief—that farmers deserved better tools to thrive.
That scrappy prototype barely held together. But it worked. And that was enough to push forward. I was filled with excitement, hope, and a vision for the future. You can see it in that smile, right?
Today, 11 years later, I'm smiling again. This time, standing next to FarmShield 4.2—smarter, durable, and transforming farming for thousands.
The journey has been - Failures. Pivots. Long nights. Bootstrapping. Wins. Doubt. Rejections.
But we kept going. And we’re still going. Because real innovation isn’t built overnight. It’s built through resilience.
Building hardware and software in Africa is tough. Super tough. But every time someone doubts you, every time an investor says pass, look back at how far you’ve come and remember the most important people are your customers and the mission you serve.
Happy 11 years to @synnefa_KE and all our partners, funders and customers.
Thank you for believing in us all these years, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. 🚀

Sam Altman is worth $1.1 billion and started the AI revolution with OpenAI.
He recently leaked his top 10 books that helped him reach the top 0.01% in wealth.
Trust me, you have to read them↓
In 1990, Trump was finished.
He was $3.4 BILLION in debt and 70 banks were coming after him.
His casinos were bleeding money & his empire was crumbling.
Until he shocked the world by pulling off one of the greatest financial turnarounds in history 🧵:
@DonaldBKipkorir@SpaceX@Starlink Starlink 2nd generation is available for ksh 41,000, and the cheapest unlimited package is kes 4,000 per month. The Starlink internet adapter is kes 6000 if ordered from their website but available at around kes 8000 from resellers.
Your experience is not everyone's clearly
@AlexHormozi I still remember Bob Collymore in matters death, he was replaced immediately with other honchos at his leadership roles, conversations changed, fast
At your funeral, friends and family will argue over who gets your belongings.
People will talk about the food and the venue.
Your life will be summarized in 2-3 paragraphs.
Conversations will shift from your life to their lives.
Your friends will drive away thinking about what’s next on their to-do list.
Some people won't be able to make it because "something came up."
And most of the people you know today won’t even be there.
You’re gonna die.
People will move on (in weeks not years).
Do what you want.
@WilliamsRuto The M23 rebels are Rwandans. Why didn't your nickname meeting directly call Kagame to withdraw his criminals from Congo?
The EAC is an accomplice in the crime east of the DRC
These are 40 lives of the many that your government kiled, very young, very promising futures but because of money, power and greed they had to die! Many months later you have never sent condolences to their families or are they children of a lesser God? We have a lot of pain in our hearts! Can't wait for you to be gone by 2027! Those families deserve justice, may justice be our shield and defender Kenya🇰🇪
