I’m putting together a practical guide on how to:
• Land gigs consistently • Write cold emails that actually get replies • Position yourself so clients reach out to YOU
No fluff. Just what works.
Interested when it drops?
Dear God,
As a new month begins tomorrow, I place everything into Your hands.
Every plan.
Every worry.
Every goal.
Every unanswered prayer.
Every area where I feel uncertain about the future.
Go before me this month.
Lead me when I do not know what to do.
Strengthen me when I feel tired.
Correct me when I drift.
Protect me from distractions, pride, fear, and anything that pulls me away from You.
Help me trust You even when I cannot see the full picture yet.
I pray this month would not just be productive, but purposeful.
Not just successful, but surrendered.
Teach me to seek You before anything else.
To remain grateful in every season.
To remember that my peace does not come from circumstances but from Your presence.
Open the right doors.
Close the wrong ones.
And give me wisdom to know the difference.
No matter what this month brings, remind me that You are already there before me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Tomorrow by 8:30am, I’ll be live on Crest FM to discuss the NYSC reforms, clarify some of the conversations around the process, and share perspectives on how the reforms can better serve Nigerian youths.
Expanding Horizons: My First Two Months at Holyprime Company Limited 🌍⚓
I am incredibly pleased to share an update on my professional journey over the last two months as part of the Survey Department at Holyprime Company Limited. It has been a period of immense growth, hands-on learning, and valuable field experience.
From day one, I have had the opportunity to bridge theory with high-level industry practice. My day-to-day technical development has included conducting site inspections, advancing my proficiency in AutoCAD for precise digitization, and executing survey observations using cutting-edge CHCNAV instruments.
However, the true highlight of this journey has been the opportunity to contribute to projects of national and economic significance.
A definitive milestone was being part of the delegation that traveled to Ode-Omi and Araromi. Under the strategic leadership of @CaptJamyl , we engaged in critical stakeholder and community alignment meetings regarding the milestone proposed Olokola @DangoteGroup Deep Sea Port project.
Following the successful commencement of this venture, I was privileged to be deployed as part of the Hydrographic Survey team—an experience that has profoundly expanded my technical horizon and understanding of marine surveying.
None of this would be possible without the exceptional workspace culture at Holyprime. The collaborative teamwork and genuinely supportive environment have consistently challenged me to stay innovative and perform at my best.
I am deeply grateful to my mentors and colleagues for their guidance, and I look forward to the milestones ahead.

Over the weekend, I was formally inducted into the prestigious Omo Aj'orosun Club, Ibadan.
Considering the pedigree and calibre of individuals I was screened alongside a few months ago, it is truly a privilege to be among the final 27 members inducted. It is an honour I do not take for granted.
Ibadan a gbe wa.
One conversation Yoruba people need to have more openly is about names and identity.
As a Yoruba man or woman, why should your child's identity begin with the name of another people's language when your own language is one of the richest in Africa?
The Yoruba have some of the most meaningful names anywhere in the world. Our names are not random labels. They tell stories. They preserve history.
Names like Bolanle, Oluwaseun, Ayomide, Adetola, Adebayo, Adekunle, Temitope, Oluwatosin, Adeola, Folasade, Babatunde, Yetunde, Abimbola and thousands more carry deep meanings that no foreign name can truly replace.
Tell me why i was named Julius 🙄

Is it the akara business that suddenly became derogatory, or should the First Lady simply have said petty traders so people could pretend not to know what she meant?
The outrage is expected, especially on this app where some people can make a career out of fooling. After all, you can spend two weeks doing that on X, Elon Musk pays you, and if you are fortunate, a brand pays you for influencing.
The truth is, our realities are different. Not everyone starts with an office, investors, and a business plan. The real problem is that too many people have been conditioned to believe that starting small is somehow shameful. That mindset is exactly why so many brilliant ideas never leave the notebook, they keep waiting for the perfect time to start.
There is dignity in honest labour, whether you are selling akara or running a multinational company. Every big business was once a small one.
And before anyone jumps to conclusions, I am not a petty trader. Saying there are petty traders does not mean I am one. It simply means I recognise that millions of people earn an honest living that way, and there is absolutely nothing derogatory about it.
