I watched this and was honestly so irked. You have to understand where you are and, most importantly, read the room.

It would have been better to address him as “Mr. Tony” initially and allow him to tell you himself that you can call him Tony.

It doesn’t matter if the company has a policy of addressing everyone by their first name, know where you are and act accordingly!!

Everyone who spoke before addressed him appropriately, so that should have given her a cue.
