Wow, this takes my breath away. What an incredible historical find.

Canada's proposed #plastic ban regulations don't match the scope & urgency of the global #plasticpollution crisis, Min @s_guilbeault. To make them stronger:
✅Expand the ban list
✅Ban exports
✅Implement in 2022
✅Don't swap plastic 4 plastic
✅Reduction & #Reuse now!

NEW: In 2020-2021, the Ontario government cut $369 million from Ontario Works (welfare), $83 million from ODSP (disability support) & $137 million from autism services.

In the middle of a pandemic, they literally took resources away from the most vulnerable.

That is so cruel.

Earlier today First VP @dmastin55 and VP @ShirleyBell8 joined with frontline workers and @fairwagesnow to tell the Ford government and MPPs that all workers need permanent #PaidSickDays.
Temporary solutions aren’t enough!
Tell your MPP to support Bill 8 this Wednesday #onpoli

If the Conservatives are unable to spell Ottawa properly in their election materials they certainly are not ready to govern there,

[Random Teacher @TeachRandom]

Well, this sums it up.

Pretty incredible milestone for the ICU at Toronto General Hospital👇

Recalling the Legislature to deal with Islamophobia? No.

To investigate residential schools sites? No.

To debate a safe return to school? No.

To stifle democracy? Yes

To quiet voices of dissent? Yes

To improve his electoral chances? Yes

Who does this remind you of?

To honour the 215 children found and in support of their families, we call on students and teachers in online classrooms across Canada to contribute to virtual heart gardens https://t.co/1Ie5WQB2UA We stand with the families and communities in mourning. #215children #kamloops

[Chris Hoffman @thehoffmobile]

Hybrid classrooms being announced as "Cost Effective" means that education is being viewed as a profit-loss statement, and not as an investment. This is unacceptable.

💯
We had a popup for 500 vaccines for a hard hit community of 35k people. Our health teams are waiting for more vaccines to go into these areas.
We need to prioritize hotspots to stop the spread & protect essential workers and our most vulnerable.
