Theme: The Comprehensive Prohibition of Evil and the Foundations of Righteousness
{قُلۡ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّیَ ٱلۡفَوَ ٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَٱلۡبَغۡیَ بِغَیۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَن تُشۡرِكُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ}
"Say, My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allāh that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allāh that which you do not know.".
LESSONS:
This verse summarizes some of the greatest sins that corrupt individuals and societies: immorality, sin, oppression, shirk, and speaking about Allah without knowledge. It teaches that true righteousness requires purity in belief, conduct, and speech.
1. Allah forbids both public and hidden immoralities; a believer must purify both conduct and intention.
2. Sin is not only what society condemns; it is whatever Allah has forbidden.
3. Oppression is forbidden in all forms, whether against Muslims or non-Muslims.
4. Shirk is the gravest violation because it gives Allah’s right to others.
5. Speaking about Allah without knowledge is dangerous; religion must be taught with evidence, humility, and caution.
O Allah, we ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment. O Allah, purify our hearts from all immoralities, whether open or hidden, and keep us away from sin and unjust oppression. O Allah, protect us from every form of shirk, whether we know it or not, and do not allow us to speak about You except with truth. Our Lord, show us the truth as truth and grant us the ability to follow it, and show us falsehood as falsehood and grant us the ability to avoid it. Āmīn.

Theme: A believer must understand the deception of Satan and the danger of disobeying Allah
{فَوَسۡوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لِیُبۡدِیَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِیَ عَنۡهُمَا مِن سَوۡءَ ٰ تِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَیۡنِ أَوۡ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰلِدِینَ}
"But Satan whispered to them to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts. He said, Your Lord did not forbid you this tree except that you become angels or become of the immortal".
LESSONS:
1. Satan's Primary Weapon Is Deception
Satan did not force Adam and Hawwāʾ (Eve) to disobey Allah. Instead, he whispered, deceived and manipulated them. This teaches that many sins begin with subtle suggestions, false promises and distorted reasoning rather than direct compulsion.
2. Sin Often Begins with a Desire for Status or Gain
Satan tempted them with two powerful desires: becoming angels and attaining immortality. Likewise, many people are led into sin today through the pursuit of power, fame, wealth, status, influence or worldly advantage.
3. Disobedience Removes Spiritual Covering
The verse indicates that Satan sought to expose what had been concealed from them. One lesson is that sin often strips a person of spiritual dignity, modesty and protection, gradually exposing weaknesses that were once hidden.
4. Every Divine Prohibition Contains Wisdom
Satan portrayed Allah's command as a deprivation rather than a mercy. This remains one of his greatest tricks. He seeks to make people view Allah's limits as restrictions on freedom, when in reality they are protections designed for their benefit.
5. False Promises Are the Pathway to Many Sins
Satan promised what he could not deliver. Throughout history, people have fallen into wrongdoing because they believed false promises of happiness, success, security or pleasure. A believer must therefore judge every claim against the guidance of Allah rather than against mere desire.
This verse teaches us that the battle between truth and falsehood often begins in the mind and heart. Before Satan leads people into wrongdoing, he first attempts to change how they think about obedience, sin and the commands of Allah.
The first recorded sin of humanity began not with force, but with a whisper.
Every believer should therefore be vigilant against ideas, temptations and invitations that make disobedience appear attractive and obedience appear burdensome.
For every successful temptation begins with a whisper, but every successful believer begins with resistance.

Never forget that Bandits stormed a baby’s naming ceremony. They handed the father of the Newborn a knife and ordered him to slaughter his own baby. He refused. They handed the knife to the wife and told her to kill her husband, she refused. In front of her, they killed both her husband & her Newborn baby and then left her alive. That woman might never ever recover from such trauma for the rest of her life. We don’t realize how much this government has failed us. Any of those women could be your sister or your mother, yet there are people waiting for 2027 elections so they can vote for the continuity of these atrocities upon us. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

Theme: Islam teaches Justice, Trustworthiness and Faithfulness to Divine Obligations
{وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلۡیَتِیمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ یَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُوا۟ ٱلۡكَیۡلَ وَٱلۡمِیزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُوا۟ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُوا۟ۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ}
"And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best [i.e., intending improvement] until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you speak [i.e., testify], be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allāh fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember".
LESSONS:
1. The Wealth of Orphans Is a Sacred Trust
Allah specifically commands believers not to approach the property of orphans except for their benefit and welfare until they attain maturity. This teaches that the vulnerable members of society deserve special protection and that exploiting those who cannot defend themselves is among the gravest forms of injustice.
2. Justice Must Govern Economic Dealings
The command to give full measure and weight establishes honesty and fairness as fundamental principles of economic life. Islam rejects fraud, cheating, manipulation and every form of exploitation in trade, business and financial transactions.
3. Allah Does Not Burden People Beyond Their Capacity
The verse reminds us that Allah's commands are always accompanied by divine wisdom and mercy. While believers are required to strive for justice and righteousness, Allah does not impose obligations that are beyond human ability and capacity.
4. Truth and Justice Must Prevail Over Family Loyalty
One of the most profound commands in the verse is: "And when you speak, be just, even if it concerns a near relative."
Islam therefore rejects tribalism, nepotism and blind loyalty. A believer must speak the truth whether it benefits or harms himself, his family, his tribe or his community.
5. Fulfilling Covenants Is a Sign of True Faith
Allah concludes with the command to fulfil His covenant. This includes our covenant with Allah, our promises to people, our agreements, contracts and trusts. A believer is defined not merely by what he believes, but by how faithfully he honours his commitments.
This verse protects five essential pillars of a healthy society:
Protection of the vulnerable.
Integrity in economic dealings.
Recognition of human limitations.
Commitment to justice.
Faithfulness to promises and trusts.
A society that preserves these values prospers. A society that abandons them inevitably suffers corruption, distrust and decline.
Allah ends the verse by saying: "This has He instructed you that you may remember."
The message is clear: faith is not merely worship in the mosque. Faith is also how we treat orphans, conduct business, speak about others and honour our commitments. True religion manifests itself in justice, honesty and trustworthiness.
