My son broke his arm today so I took him out for ice cream and said he could get a LEGO set and we could build it together.
We went to Walmart.
Every single LEGO set, even ones that were $7.99, were locked up behind glass.
We walked down another isle… same thing.
Every single week I have walked in here and more items are locked up behind glass and it takes FOREVER to have anyone help you open something and they make you feel awful for it.
It’s honestly barely worth shopping here at all…
I felt so bad for my kid. We ended up just leaving without a LEGO set.
Whatever we are doing with society that has brought us here… it’s gotta end.
This is insane and it’s destroying childhood.
adriana lima truly saw the pictures people have taken of her over the last few years and said “fuck it, i’m bringing back the 2010s” and actually did it. she looks like an absolute goddess again. proof that losing those extra few pounds can make a huge difference. being 45 is not an excuse to let yourself go, and she just proved it. she looks fucking phenomenal.
Having a parent live to 100 may predict not only a longer life, but a longer period of life without cardiovascular disease risk.
Adults with at least one centenarian parent lived about 3 years longer and went roughly 5 additional years before developing high blood pressure compared with adults without a centenarian parent.
They also had a 42% lower risk of all-cause mortality and a 33% lower risk of high blood pressure.
