"Israel rejects the Board of Peace plan for Gaza"

Some thoughts:

1. Israel believes the Board of Peace plan is doomed to failure, and giving it a chance will only make things worse. That's because:

2. Nobody believes Hamas will disarm voluntarily. Literally nobody. Not even Board of Peace director-general Nikolai Mladenov, who told Israeli media he shares Israelis' skepticism and that's why the plan is based on verification rather than trust. That's because:

3. Hamas has already said it won't disarm voluntarily. It said "yes" to the plan... if Israel withdraws first. No, it doesn't work like that. Hamas wants to use its weapons as leverage to dictate the pace of an Israeli withdrawal.

The Board of Peace has been absolutely clear: "the withdrawal of the IDF beyond the Yellow Line will take place only once decommissioning is complete," including tunnels, which Mladenov said would take ten years anyway.

4. It's unfortunate this is being framed as "Hamas accepts, Israel rejects". Hamas said it accepted with a massive "but" that voided it of content (withdrawal first). Hamas has therefore rejected the plan. That's because Hamas framed its comms around the international audience, who wanted to hear "yes" and ignore the "but", and Israel framed it around the domestic audience, who wanted to hear "no" and don't want to hear about the "but" (such as the fact Israel is allowing colossal quantities of supplies into enemy territory, which Hamas is taxing and getting rich off).

5. This would make things worse because it would allow the Hamas threat to be reconstituted. October 7 taught Israelis about the costs of dangerous illusions, like even imagining Hamas might disarm voluntarily. In the time Hamas refuses to disarm, the IDF's hands would be tied. It would be prevented from stopping Hamas' military build-up. The Board of Peace would station an international force of soldiers from mostly Islamic countries that would serve as a shield for Hamas while it rebuilds its terrorist army.

6. The "15 point plan" is a step backward from the "20 point plan". The October 2025 ceasefire said Gaza would be DEMILITARIZED, not that Hamas' weapons would be placed into storage in Gaza. It said that Hamas members "who commit to peaceful coexistence and to decommission their weapons" would be given an amnesty... this would give a de facto amnesty to those who double down on jihad. The ceasefire said there would be an "agreed" process of decommissioning weapons... this tries to impose a mechanism on Israel without its consent.

6. Is this all domestic politics? Israel is in election mode. Netanyahu's political future and legacy are in jeopardy. He is alert to public criticism, especially since October 7 shattered his reputation as "Mr. Security." He cannot be seen as "selling out" Israel's security by believing dangerous illusions, or putting faith in international forces, or giving any room to Hamas patrons Turkey or Qatar.

And yet... the fact nobody is attacking him for this step tells you it's not just politics. Because nobody believes Hamas is going to disarm voluntarily and nobody wants to restrict the IDF's freedom of maneuver to hunt October 7 monsters. Netanyahu is getting attacked for allegedly restricting the IDF's freedom against Hamas in practice while saying that's not what he's doing. In the post-October 7 Israel, any politician who said "sure let's give Hamas a chance to do this the nice way" would be laughed out of the ROOM as hopelessly naive and a threat to national security.

It's way past time for everyone to MOVE ON from the barbaric regional war Hamas launched with the October 7 Massacre.

But that's going to require the same three Ds Israel laid out at the start: Hamas is disarmed, Gaza is demilitarized, and the population is deradicalized.

Anything else is a recipe for war, and we've had enough.

Abdul El-Sayed advocates for sharia law in the U.S.

He argues that the U.S. banned sharia because of hate and discrimination, and the forces that banned it are the same forces that committed [insert every historic evil].

This is obscene political propaganda, putting sharia law in the same category of victimhood as historic American tragedies.

It’s a perfect example of how illiberal movements use liberal politics as a Trojan horse to smuggle in authoritarianism.

Fun fact:

When the PLO was founded in 1964, the West Bank was ruled by Jordan and Gaza by Egypt.

Yet the PLO didn't demand the "liberation" of either.

Its founding charter called only for the elimination of Israel.

If this conflict had always been about creating a Palestinian state, why wasn't Jordan's control of the West Bank or Egypt's control of Gaza considered occupation?

The US federal budget is about $7 trillion. That $3.8 billion to Israel is less than 0.05% of it. The defense budget is around $960 billion. Yet the anti-Israel crowd, including figures like Ilhan Omar and Zohran Mamdani, tells the public that cutting this tiny fraction would make everyone rich. It’s not just a lie. It’s ridiculous.

If people with that Robin Hood mindset gain real power, they would sabotage the American way of investing, developing, and staying dominant. At the same time, American Jews, roughly 7.5 million strong, contribute an estimated $250 billion annually to the US treasury through taxes. Their bond with Israel isn’t just strategic; it’s family.

Cutting aid to Israel while pushing to isolate it sends a clear message to this highly productive community: your taxes may fund policies hostile to your family and your values.

These new voices aren’t serving the American people. They’re advancing Islamic and communist agendas, whether funded by China or anti-American Islamic regimes.
This outrage over Gaza is manufactured by the same terrorists and jihadists who dragged Israel and America into this dirty war, using human shields and weaponizing civilians by design to turn Americans against their own government and allies.

Replacing a proven alliance and a successful economic fabric with dependency and foreign interests is a dangerous gamble. The average American needs to wake up.
