Yesterday I fasted with my LDS friends for religious liberty the greatest country on Earth! 🇺🇸

Mrs. Tomesh joined in as well!

Catholics and Latter-Day Saints may have a lot of important theological differences, but we have a great deal of parallel experience — especially when it comes to repression and ostracism in regards to our religious expression in this country.

Still, there’s nowhere else on Earth that so thoroughly upholds religious liberty, especially in a time where those liberties are quickly being eroded elsewhere in the name of “tolerance”.

It is crucial that the followers of Christ work together to ensure that the next 250 years sees these liberties preserved.
