@briangaither Brian... You're way over this old farmer's head. Taking the analysis of LGBT rights into the ivory towers of academia has little relevance for me. My fight has been in the streets..providing care for men dying of AIDS,counseling homeless LGBT teens, electing allies to office.

@briangaither Brian..Thank you for the conversation. Here is my fervent hope. That the LGBTQ+ community does not continue in these self-destructive conversations over who is gay enough or what is the right kind of gay. We have real enemies out there and that's where we need focus our energies!

John Rechy's life experiences in LA and those of Mr. Peck in NY bear little resemblance to mine growing up and living as a gay man on a farm in California's Central Valley.
