No drugs or alcohol in his system.
Blunt force trauma.
A missing neck bone.

He didn’t drown. And the medical examiner has not concluded that he drowned.

Yet, somehow, a grand jury has unanimously declined to issue criminal indictments in the tragic death of Nolan Wells.

So the questions remain.

How did Nolan Wells die?
What caused the blunt force trauma?
Where is the missing bone?
Who is accountable for what happened?

Black people have every right to demand answers when the facts raise serious questions.

We will not be told to wait.
We will not be told to forget.
We will not accept silence as justice.

Nolan Wells deserves the truth.
His family deserves answers.
And the public deserves accountability.

Aminata Seck came to the US from Senegal on a student visa to attend Kentucky State U&play basketball. She missed a visa paperwork deadline due to having back surgery. On 8/7/2026, ICE arrested her at the Louisville airport as she was traveling to New York with her university basketball team. Over 6 weeks later, she remains in immigration jail after being moved among at least 4 facilities. She sustained a serious leg injury needing surgery, is denied adequate medical care and her whereabouts are kept from her attorney.

Détenue depuis six semaines aux États-Unis : la terrible descente aux enfers de la basketteuse sénégalaise Aminata

Aminata Seck, une basketteuse sénégalaise de 26 ans originaire de Dakar et étudiante à l'Université d'État du Kentucky, a été interpellée le 7 août par les services d'immigration américains (ICE) à l'aéroport de Louisville, alors qu'elle s'apprêtait à voyager avec son équipe.

Selon les médias du Kentucky, cette figure clé de l'équipe des Thorobrettes se retrouve au centre d'une procédure d'expulsion en raison d'un visa étudiant qui aurait expiré, une échéance qui aurait pu être manquée en raison de problèmes de santé.

Depuis son arrestation, la jeune athlète a été transférée dans plusieurs centres de détention, se trouvant actuellement dans le comté de Grayson. Sa situation soulève de vives inquiétudes quant à sa prise en charge médicale, puisqu'elle souffre d'une grave blessure nécessitant une intervention chirurgicale.

Son avocate, a déploré les difficultés d'accès aux soins en détention : « Elle a absolument besoin d'une intervention chirurgicale », a-t-elle déclaré, ajoutant : « Elle n'a pas reçu de glace régulièrement. On ne lui a pas prescrit de médicaments. Elle prend de l'ibuprofène. Elle souffre énormément. »

Face à cette épreuve, l'encadrement de l'université se mobilise activement pour lui venir en aide. L'entraîneuse principale, a lancé un appel aux dons et au soutien moral pour couvrir les frais juridiques et améliorer le quotidien de la joueuse en détention, saluant son impact positif. Son avocate insiste également sur la nécessité absolue de veiller à sa santé : « Nous avons vraiment besoin d'informations en temps réel sur sa santé et nous devons veiller à partager tous les éléments de son dossier médical avec les professionnels de santé qui tentent de la soigner. »

Alors que l'établissement universitaire s'est refusé à tout commentaire public en invoquant la confidentialité, cette affaire interrompt brutalement la prometteuse carrière universitaire de la jeune Sénégalaise. Ses soutiens continuent de se mobiliser massivement sur les réseaux sociaux sous le mot-clé « #BringAminaHome », exigeant transparence, respect des droits et un traitement médical digne pour l'étudiante
