What does Sisu mean?
Sisu is a Finnish word for the inner grit that keeps you moving when the path gets hard. Determination, resilience, and stoic bravery after the usual reserves are already spent.
It doesn't have to be cinematic bravery. It can be everyday ordinary toughness.
Getting out of bed when you would rather not.
Keeping a promise when it would be easier to break it.
Doing the right thing without a speech, audience, or accolades.
That is the standard by which we try to run this company.
Quality you can verify.
Service that does not vanish after the order ships.
SISU
The unglamorous correct thing, every time. Even when no one is watching.
@GrintSammy21527@gregogallagher Interesting take my man, not sure what the hostility is about. I never got the vax and doesn't take much to understand why they are completely different.
Would be happy to discuss, but I have a feeling you don't care.
@odanovich@ItsPeptime I've only tried 250mcg and it seemed nice but nothing crazy. I accidentally mixed up my pens after a long work trip and gave myself a full mg. Felt like I was coming out of a different dimension in the morning.
I've seen a lot of your posts, there just doesn't seem to be much discussion because people get so offended when you talk about Reta.
One of your big points is body composition which I agree should be the goal.
Just from my experience with it, I think a lot of the muscle loss can be limited with protein intake and weight lifting which wasn't controlled for in the trials.
I've lost ~30 pounds and my performance in the gym has actually gotten better as Reta has allowed me to eat more food, especially carbs. I couldn't tolerate carbs much at all before.
My heart rate did increase ~8bpm as I titrated up to 6mg. I don't feel any negatives in everyday life and all my sleep metrics are going up, while my bloodwork improved drastically.
I think the benefit of Reta over Tirz, at least for me, is Reta allows me to actually eat more while still losing fat. Most bad side effects I see people get from GLPs in general is a result of undereating.
I will never understand why Tesamorelin gets pigeon holed into visceral fat reduction.
Yes that's what it was FDA approved for, but elevated GH and IGF-1 will tend to improve visceral fat reduction.
Yet I don't see anyone saying "exogenous GH only gets rid of visceral fat and not subcutaneous fat, and it comes back when you stop"
If it raises GH and IGF-1 why would Tesa not include all the benefits people attribute to exogenous GH? All while having your own body producing it, possibly minimizing receptor desensitization found in GH supplementation.
And don't tell me it doesn't work as well as GH unless you have the data and bloodwork from both to back it up.
Most people aren't trying to get their Z score over 4.
@OlafBresina Even at your low estimate of 5 pounds per year, 15-20 pounds of muscle over 3-4 years will drastically improve your quality of life.
Plus the discipline and mental benefits that come from a consistent routine are worth it by itself.
@NDMFlyHigh@VirtusPeptides Studying the effects of light on lyophilized powder purity and degradation sounds like a perfect scenario where you would need to buy Research Use Only compounds. 👀
@bowtiedshredder The only times I have tweaked my back doing random everyday things, were when I had been away from the gym and deadlifts for a decent amount of time.
@bowtiedmeathead I have always said I think the mental gains of the gym are more important than the physical (which are great). With how much time and money is spent on mental health these days, I would say its a pretty good investment.
