This morning, I promised to tell you more about my 100-year-old friend – now's the time!

I met Harriet the first time I came to the USA in 1994. It was my first time coming there. Had one dollar on me.
We landed at Brussels airport aboard Sabena Airlines. I tried to use my one Dallas to buy soda from a machine but it was not enough and that machine took my money.
I had not eaten the entire flight because I thought I had to pay for food- (btw food and drinks are included in your airfare but I never knew😂)
Harriet was at the time travelling with her late husband Richard and late daughter Nancy.
She saw me struggling and helped me buy lunch. When we arrived in New York she stayed on topic with me. Became a guide and relative I never had in the USA. She's been a constant presence in my life and a generous supporter of @NyakaGlobal. (can't exhaust the whole story here) but I've written about our journey together in most of my books, which you can find on Amazon https://t.co/h8IYBMMpAe
