I'm saying their is no correlation & it has nothing to do with actual gender equality. It has everything to do with a higher tax base and larger labor pool. A country can get those while still implementing gender inequality if they wanted to.

A country does not need men and women to be equal for women to be put into the work force and be taxed.

@SittingSideWaze duh. I didn't say gender equality causes countries to be highly developed, I said developed countries TEND STRONGLY TOWARDS gender equality bc there is a STRONG correlation begween the two. MANY factors contribute, but gender equality isn't "men deciding to be nice"

Highly developed countries dont become more developed due to the "gender equality" itself. They become more developed bc of a rise in the tax base and a bigger working class.

If a country decided to have women work & tax them but not give them the same rights that the men have the country could still become a highly developed nation.
