@EmilKadd_@clashreport Yes and each country in Europe will mean nothing… European region being just a sphere of influence of other hegemonies like South America has been. All instead of being a superpower active across other continents. We need someone like Bismarck here
@TheEconomist It is because US wants to get control over Americas. Not sure about the economies of the region. To be fair in the countries which get under US umbrella, you can see some actions of US when it comes to cartels etc. I know fight against cartels does not equal preventing homicides
@tomphillipsin I don’t think the rules we are speaking about here are still internationally really recognised… It was the same in Colombia. It is a Donroe Doctrine, US wants to control Brazil without the need for more aggressive means. It is the Donroe Doctrine https://t.co/nHGiQPbuRp
@MomentsOfBrPol Of course, it is part of the Donroe Doctrine. It is sad for Brazil because it is a country which actually could be an independent power instead of a resource colony https://t.co/nHGiQPbuRp
@ForeignAffairs@dan_restrepo I don’t believe in the integration with the US article mentioned. Some countries of the EU would like to collaborate with Americas but in the end USA has more tools than them to make Americas their courtyard. China has a bigger role to play here too ofc
