SoundScan Japan has released its 2024 annual sales report, revealing that music video sales totaled approximately ¥55.8 billion, a 23.5% decrease from the previous year's ¥73 billion. Despite the decline, the average unit price rose by 10.1% to ¥8,165.
In artist rankings, Mrs. GREEN APPLE (@AORINGOHUZIN) secured the top spot with ¥2.39 billion in sales, followed by SixTONES (@SixTONES) with ¥2.17 billion, and WEST. (@WEareWEST7) with ¥1.86 billion.
The top-selling video titles were:
