💢 BREAKING | Israel says it carried out new airstrikes in southern Lebanon near a “Yelliw Line”

Israel’s military said it launched airstrikes and artillery fire in southern Lebanon after detecting people approaching its forces south of a newly defined “Yellow Line” – similar to a line it uses in Gaza to murder unarmed civilians near (and often hundreds of meters from it) and destroy structures inside it

➤ The IDF claims individuals crossed from north of the line toward Israeli troops, prompting “precise strikes” by air and ground forces to deal with an immediate threat. No evidence of a threat was shared.
➤ It said artillery supported troops and that infrastructure used people used for attacks was also targeted
➤ Israel claims such actions fall under “self-defense” and are not restricted by the ceasefire agreement

The military said it will continue bombings and attacks to “remove any threat” to its forces and civilians.

Journalists in southern Lebanon reported massive demolition explosions, and heavy shelling in villages.
