Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has formally withdrawn his earlier allegations of corruption in the recruitment processes of the security services and has issued an apology to the Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak.

In his retraction, the minority leader acknowledged that his previous claims implicating the Interior Ministry in irregularities and corrupt practices during security personnel enlistment were unfounded.
