We're excited to announce SkalorAI is out of stealth today.
We build the control layer for AI agents that spend money. Limits, approvals, a kill switch, and a signed receipt for every decision. The agent asks. The mandate answers.
The scale coming in agentic payments is hard to overstate. Agents settled 75 million payments last month on x402 alone. Within a few years there will be more agents transacting than people, and the money they move will be measured in trillions of dollars. Every one of those payments needs an answer to one question: who said it could?
Proud to have @DraperDragon on board as our first investor🫡
Most payment infrastructure is built to tell you what happened. An agent spends, the transaction lands, and someone reconciles it the next morning. That works when the spender is a human who sleeps. It breaks the moment the spender is software making thousands of decisions an hour.
This is why @OrionFund's point about eUTXO is the right one. Validation is deterministic — the outcome of a settlement is knowable before it is submitted. For fiduciary control that isn't a technical detail, it's the whole game. A mandate you can evaluate up front is a mandate that can actually refuse. A mandate you can only evaluate afterwards is a report.
And because spending conditions attach to the funds themselves rather than to an account, the rules travel with the money. An agent's authority stops being a policy someone hopes is enforced somewhere upstream, and becomes a property of the asset.
As USDCx brings real dollar movement to Cardano, agents will follow. They always follow the liquidity. The only question is whether the guardrails arrive with them or a year after the first incident.
That's what we're building at Skalor, and why we're glad to have @OrionFund backing it.
We're excited to announce Orion Fund's investment in @SkalorAI, alongside @DraperDragon.
We believe eUTXO is a natural home for fiduciary control of AI agents. Deterministic validation is designed to let Skalor's seven gates evaluate a settlement's outcome before submission. Spending conditions attach to the funds themselves, so an agent's mandate can travel with the money.
As USDCx and other stablecoins enable real onchain dollar movement, we expect agents to follow - with the proper guardrails.
Companies are giving agents spending authority faster than they are giving them controls. That gap is the whole company.
Every payment an agent attempts clears seven fiduciary gates before value moves. Every decision produces a signed receipt anyone can verify, offline, forever.

AI agents are starting to spend money on their own. Most companies don't have a way to stop them if something goes wrong. Which is why we've invested in @SkalorAI, which is the control layer that checks every agent payment against your rules before it happens and says yes or no in milliseconds.
