The Skater's Edge

WNY's premier skate boutique for apparel and figure skating services

It's a #TransformationThursday for this pair of nicked up blades!

Skating is hard enough without dull edges and nicks in your blades making it harder to perform at your best. Why add to the difficulty?? Get your skates sharpened often and keep progressing!

Claire says she never minded fresh edges, but she had friends who felt more like Sven here... Where do you fit? Sharp edges, or dulled back??

It's like they WANT to get scratched, and nicked, and scuffed, and everything else that means the skates are working as hard as you are 🙈

Today's #MotivationMonday comes from the 3A #Queen!

Forget what happens in the competition or test. Only YOU know the hours of hard work preparing. Only YOU can know the value of your skating and what this sport means to you. OWN IT! Believe in it! Good things will come ✨

....Snow and wind wins this round ☃️We're heading home early today, Wednesday January 30. If the blizzard conditions continue into tomorrow morning, we will have a late opening at noon instead of 10am, when this storm will (hopefully) blow itself out.

[The Skater's Edge @SkatersEdge_]

YES we are OPEN today and tomorrow!

It's cold and snow is blowing, but skaters are tough! If the Blizzard Warning brings a major change our way and we close shop early today or decide not to open Thursday we will post on all social media to let you know.

Stay warm&safe! ❄️
