I just think it'd be neat if Shiho showed up in both hitozuma jc and adashima SS3 since they come out at the same time. Totally not cause I've been writing about her for the last 4 months
@yurifanatickle yeah, as of now I see it as umi being gone. but I think Shiho's changed a bit, considering how willing she is to fund kai with no strings attached
ドはまりJC and Adashima vol 9 spoilers
Realized there's a parallel between Hino's mom hiring her lesbian lover as a maid and the Chitaira men screwing all their maids till they have no idea whose kid is whose.
@Feloscy22 Shouko Kai is an acclaimed author character in Baka ga Zenra de Yattekuru, a pseudo-biographical novel that Iruma put out in 2010. She basically comes up whenever there's anything fictional in-universe!
@Feloscy22 The sad thing is that without Shiho's funding, Umi never would have had the money to move in with Takasora in the first place. Maybe if Shiho gave her money out of pure kindness of heart, but nope, too twisted haha

So basically! Shimamura picked out a gift the color of her crush's eyes from 14 years ago. On reflex! On the one hand, there are tons of little things that Shimamura takes from her life outside Adachi and integrates into their relationship. On the other hand, phew!
Interesting adashima detail I found while refreshing for fanfic writing (Vol 8+11 spoilers):
On their way back from SF, Shimamura is asked to pick out a souvenir for Adachi, and what she picks is a cup the exact color of Chiki's eyes! 黄緑色
Getting obsessed with adashima and starting a fanfic for the first time in my life really drove home the fact that I'm a writer.
You'd think working for 6 years in loc would do that, but it's easy to compartmentalize.
Kinda exciting! I'll plop it below ⬇️
I was literally walking the streets of Nagoya with my friends last month, yapping about how I wanted a Chitaira-focused novel from Iruma. God I'm so happy ahhhhhh
