It is a massive day for those students collecting their A-Level results.

I know this can feel overwhelming, like your whole life is being decided at this moment, but the truth is - it isn’t. One piece of paper doesn't dictate your entire future.

You might open that envelope and get exactly what you expected. Whilst this is something to be very proud of and makes the choice easier, you’re still going to need to put the graft in for whatever comes next !

Those of you who leave today disappointed, try to view this as a change in direction rather than a failure. These results represent a stepping stone to the next stage in your life, but your future is ultimately in your own hands.

Congratulations to all those who are collecting their results today and, whatever happens, hold your head up high and jump into whatever is next with passion and purpose. You’ve got this!
