@TanKHuynh There is a formula/a way/a guide that can help Ts lead the Ss toward English proficiency. I believe our Ts will buy in to this because it's already familiar and written in teacher-friendly language.
@TanKHuynh Remembering these Ss need just some extra support, extra encouragement, extra cognitive struggle to move out of our ELD program. What can I do to push them forward?
@TanKHuynh "Experienced multilinguals" validates all the learning and work these Ss have already done...they are our kids, they are here, and they deserve quality schools. #mllchat_bkclub
Studies consistently demonstrate exposure to an additional language, including a minority language, does not impact language outcomes negatively for children with developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome. https://t.co/LQeIdlbFEg
